We will carry out regular inspections to make sure that the property continues to be habitable and to ensure that you are happy in the property
Moving house can be a stressful experience, but it doesn't have to be. That's why at Woods Properties and Lettings, we provide a free home movers box to all our tenants! We hope that the home movers box will make your move a little bit easier. And as a thank you for choosing Woods Properties and Lettings, we've also included a few extra goodies in the box.
When it comes to renting, we won’t let anybody accept a property unless they have seen it themselves. This ensures that you know exactly what to expect when your tenancy begins.
Having seen a property and deciding that you would like it you need to put a holding deposit on the property, equivalent to one week’s rent and complete a pre-rental questionnaire.
We will then speak to the landlord to confirm they are happy.
Providing they are happy we will commence referencing. Our referencing is carried out by a specialist agency called Vouch and it is completed online.
Once referencing is approved, we can agree a moving date with you and the landlord.
The rental deposit (equivalent to five weeks rent) or rental guarantee and first month’s rent, minus the holding deposit will need to be paid prior to move in.
All the paperwork is sent by email so on the moving day it is simply a matter of signing off a condition report/inventory which would have been carried out showing the scale and condition of the property you are moving into.

Within the first three months we will see you again to check how you are settling in.
